High School Student’s Letter Rejecting Colleges That Mandate Vaccines
Have your student use this template to send to colleges that are courting them
One of our members’ daughter is a rising high-school junior. She is an excellent student and is beginning to be courted by colleges and universities. She receives emails and letters inviting her to learn more, to visit, to apply.
This wise junior is not considering any college that mandates C19 shots. She composed the letter below and is sending it to each mandating school that contacts her. Not only is she doing her part for medical freedom by walking away, she’s actively pushing against mandates by making her voice heard.
We need more of this.
We invite you (with her permission) to copy her letter for use as a template, and send it to schools that are courting you or your student. Mandates will not end as long as we participate.
To (insert name of College or University) Office of Admissions,
I was happy to receive your email introducing me to your school for my future college studies. I was able to take a glance at your website and it appears you have many interesting opportunities and exciting activities that I would be eager to explore. Thank you for contacting me.
At this time, I’m only considering schools, colleges or universities that do not require a Covid-19 vaccine and that would mean the initial series, any boosters and including upcoming requirements to be considered “up to date.” Medical freedom and body autonomy are my highest priority.
Upon reviewing your website, I noticed that the Covid-19 vaccine and/or boosters are a requirement for in person attendance at your school at this time. If I am mistaken or if your policy changes in the future, please let me know.
Thank you for your interest in me,
(Name of Student)
This is wonderful!
I would also encourage enrollment in a state such as Alabama, which has expressedly prohibited C-19 mandates by law since 2020.
Good for her. Country needs more like her.
