I am a Wellesley graduate and I completely agree with you. So proud of you for speaking out. Keep it up. People are scared to speak but you have more allies than you realize.

Hi Tanjawia! Author of the article here. Can you please email me at studentsagainstcovidmandates@gmail.com? There are other alumnae concerned with this writing letters of support to the administration. If you would be comfortable writing an email, please email the college administrators. Thank you!

Hi. I actually did email you this morning and you sent me the information for writing letters. I will do so

Just WOW!!!! That those in leadership positions would foist this sort of senseless coercion on students with this sort of timing no less is more of an indictment on the evil of the elite than it is on the disregard for our Constitutional (and human) rights!!

This is so well written and SO SPOT ON!!

Great piece! Keep fighting- others are waking up!!

Bravo! Forwarding this to my daughter (who is a college junior) and is one of the few at her school that sought a religious exemption from the school’s vaccine mandates.

Squirrel's avatar

Well said! Hope this goes viral!

Beautiful job on this. Hallelujah.

Richard W. Perkins's avatar

A Federal Judge in NY just ruled mandates are un-Constitutional. Hopefully this ruling will blanket the country.

SunnyGarage's avatar

Great news. Vindication for the strong minded that refused the shots.

There is no lawsuits for college mandate?

Richard W. Perkins's avatar

There are numerous lawsuits, exactly what colleges I do not know but, I am guessing the founders of this website do know.

Excellent writing!

The one question, however, this author doesn’t ask is: “How much are these universities being paid for each injection?” I think that answer is far more telling.

E L's avatar

There had comments made in previous articles I’ve read citing research grants that will be lost if the school abandons the vax mandates. I haven’t independently verified. But wondering if that’s part of it?

Yuri Bezmenov's avatar

Why are your "my body, my choice" sisters all silent about this? You're better off transferring to a less demoralized university: https://yuribezmenov.substack.com/p/how-to-get-into-harvard-part-2

RB's avatar

We are not, have been out here fighting against this.

Wellesley Anon Student's avatar

Hi RB! Are you an alumna? Or a current student? If you are an alumna of Wellesley, would you be comfortable emailing the administration with your concerns? Administration cares about alumnae opinions very much and that is the only thing I see potentially stopping this totally unethical mandate.

RB's avatar

I am a mother in another state standing against mandates for our kids. My daughter is a running start student at our local university. Well written article, I hope to see more of this from students!

E L's avatar

It is incomprehensible to me that these mandates continue! This letter beautifully summarizes why the mandates need to end, immediately - and never should have occurred in the first place - and yet, some of these bastions of elite liberalism won’t let up.

This letter has to go viral, and there needs to be a class action lawsuit. What’s going on with ICAN, any progress with that?

I am a Wellesley alum. Thank you for speaking up. We alums need to put more pressure on the college to end these mandates. We also need to pressure Wellesley to return to developing minds, as opposed to pushing ideologies on students.

Wellesley Anon Student's avatar

Hi Katherine! Author of the article here, thanks for reading! Can you please email me at studentsagainstcovidmandates@gmail.com? There are other alumnae concerned with this writing letters of support to the administration. If you would be comfortable writing an email, please email the college administrators, ideally with this essay attached so they know that therr are students who are unhappy about the mandates. Thank you!

My mother, a Wellesley alumna, just wrote: "I am very proud of this young woman's initiative and courage and will amplify her effort to the extent that I can." Your post reached her via a friend who receives the No College Mandates newsletter. Thank you!

Wellesley Anon Student's avatar

Hi Ana! Author of the article here. Would you be able to ask your mother to email me at studentsagainstcovidmandates@gmail.com? There are other alumnae concerned with this writing letters of support to the administration. If you she would be comfortable writing an email, could you ask her to email the college administrators? Thank you!

Hi, and yes, absolutely! Think it would help to make an all Ivy + 7 sisters effort? If so, I'm part of the broader network and had been in touch with Andy Bostom before he was deplatformed, around the time he wrote this: https://brownstone.org/articles/brown-universitys-silence-on-post-vaccine-myocarditis/.

Hi Ana - I have an alumna of Princeton and Columbia. She is trying to collect others to join an effort to stop donating to the Ivy Leagues. She is starting with her giving class at Princeton and asking them to join her. Then she plans to expand the effort. I'd be happy to put you in touch with her? My email is: info@nocollegmandates.com

E L's avatar

Ana, I have a daughter at Georgetown. They’ve been equally as challenging (though they have yet to mandate the bivalent... I’m sure it’s coming soon) - I would be happy to join in the broader efforts. The past 2.5 years have been insufferable for those of us who believe in common sense, and bodily autonomy.

And Wesleyan Anon Student. Outstanding article. Well articulated and perfectly stated. Thank you.

No College Mandates's avatar

Hi EL - as horrible as this sounds, do you know of a vaccine injured student at Georgetown? I have an alumna who will fully fund a lawsuit if they are willing to bring one! My email is: info@nocollegemandates.com Thank you!

E L's avatar

Sorry... WELLESLEY, not Wesleyan. Very big difference, my apologies.

Wellesley Anon Student's avatar

Thank you so much, Ana! I think the bigger the effort, the better. Email me at the above address and we will figure something out, because if there's anything worth figuring out, this is worth figuring out (how to get rid of college vaccine mandates).

Based on the egregious behavior and groupthink of "top" colleges like Wellesley, I have little interest in sending my brilliant, talented kids to institutions like that. They can go to good, public, red-state schools (or forge their own entrepreneurial paths) and all parties will likely be better for it. The reputations of almost all of these "excellent" universities have been sullied for me.

Hansang Bae's avatar

Well said. I can't believe the INSANITY surrounding vaccination. By now, things are crystal clear in terms of who's at risk, who isn't and (despite all efforts of suppression) the risk to younger people. And here we are with administrators being sheep by just going along with messaging based on political and not medical/scientific reasons. It's mind boggling that political genuflection is more important than health of student body. Whatever happened to FOLLOW THE SCIENCE?

TeacherLori's avatar

Yeah…now it’s follow the political science.😏

Allison Woodward's avatar

Bravo - whoever this student is needs to say WTF and come out, organize a student boycott against Wesley no matter the consequences - YOUR LIFE & HEALTH are far more valuable than an overpriced, liberal indoctrination center...

ONE simple suggestion and thank you for your courage!! You would be wise to ditch Gmail ASAP.

Protonmail is a good alternative and has a free account and a free VPN. Dr. Mercola among others has been issuing warnings that Gmail is Google and surveillance of all communications is forever!!

I will not communicate with a gmail address, for that reason. Secondly, as a Master's degree person, If I were a student at one of these institutions, I would change my allegiance to an institution that did not have mandates, almost as quickly as I would eliminate Gmail (seriously). Thirdly and last, it wasn't until I was doing my Master's degree, that it occurred to me that I actually could (and should) research, interview and choose those instructors at my (also) carefully chosen educational institution, who I thought were the best in my field, and who shared similar values to mine. At the time, this was a revolutionary thought for me, (even though I was almost 40yrs.), which I then implemented. In hindsight, it made ALL the difference in getting the best education and the best value for the dollars invested. Relationships are critically important to your success, guaranteed!!

Technology seeks to enslave us, if it doesn't kill us first. The so-called middle of the road, and go along to get along, is a self fulfilling suicidal strategy, IMO.
