Stated with such refinement. This is a piece I will bookmark and maybe, if there is ever an "opening" again, share with my daughter at NYU. She has clearly stated her boundaries (from pretty early on n 2020) with respect to Mom sending links and articles to prod her independent, critical thinking. I have backed off and resumed a loving relationship within stated boundaries. I stand as witness to how these once dreamed-for institutions are (and have) captured her. Living love by respecting boundaries and listening more than speaking. This powerful essay will remain on standby for now.

I hear you I agree with you but what makes my blood boil is the willingness of so many college age students to get the jabs and not fight for their individual sovereignty and informed consent. So many just rolled over and did what the so called experts and media mind controlled talking heads told them to do. Maybe I shouldn’t be so surprised after what I’m seeing going on now with the pro evil protests all around campuses. It’s all mind blowing and sad how easily it is to brain wash a population.

If I’m not incorrect, I believe most student loans are handled by the Federal Government.

Maybe the government now gets to stipulate or mandate Covid policy to all institutions of higher learning in order for these institutions to get grants and students to receive loans.

Maybe it would be better to have private banks do the lending again, since the government being put in charge of the money basically cedes ownership of higher learning to Uncle Sam.

I’m not saying I understand how it works, but I know the more the federal government is involved, the more it dictates how things must be.

The last time I checked, The CDC, was another name for the Federal Government.

Another classic reason why citizens should not be allowed to vote till age 25, regardless of "education." Instead, the trend is to "lower" the voting age! At some point people have to come to the realization that the Government does not have our backs! Period!!
