I would like to support this but have concerns due to the inconsistent behavior of the disgraced CDC. What if, as some predict, there is a waffling on this issue by CDC (likely post-midterm election)? The CDC has been politicized, been guilty of dismissing standard, objective, scientific rigor in its pronouncements and has completely lost its credibility. It should be disbanded and never used as a reliable source of standard setting.
