As a mom of a senior who was hoping to go to UCSD but will not because of these mandates, I hope your letter has an impact and brings this madness to an end. Dreams are being destroyed for our young people.

For those who don't know Professor Robinson's work, he wrote one of the best books on "democracy promotion", ever, and wrote it at a time when this was the catchphrase for waging a campaign of permanent and pre-emptive wars.
There are so few who aptly critique US foreign policy from "the left" who have said anything of substance about forced injections, segregating society based on vaccine status, etc.

I am encouraged to see more university faculty speaking out against this. I remain dumbfounded by how very few in the academic world have even made a peep about mandates or masks or any of the other measures imposed during the "health crisis." "Intelligentsia" is a thing of the past, and university is most assuredly no longer a place where the life of the mind is celebrated. I wish you luck in this battle, Professor Robinson.
Praying your letter makes a dent in this madness. Hard to believe it’s still going on especially in the colleges and in the hospitals. It’s like they are in denial and just digging their heels in deeper for the sake of control and $$$. They don’t respond to letters from the “plebes” so I’m hoping they hear you and respond with something other than it’s safe and effective and it keeps you out of the hospital. Not so! My SIL suffered seizures weeks after her boost and they put her on a ventilator. Every single Dr denied it had anything to do with the boost. They ran a million tests and still don’t know why she was having seizures as she’s never had them before and never been sick. We eventually got her off the ventilator and she’s in rehab trying to get her life back. She’s one of the lucky ones. 🙏
I applaud Professor Robinson for taking a stand and using his voice to give support to those of us who do not agree and never have with these mandates.
Thank you professor. I pray you are heard and your job is not compromised. At this point the mandates make no sense. It is alarming how many institutions are keeping them.
Thank you- we are standing shoulder to shoulder with you in NY! The shot is killing children on campuses across the country (and folks all over the planet for that matter) and the mass media refuses to cover it. 18-22 year old don't just die of cardiac arrest and stroke! This cannot be normalized! Folks need to look at the VAERS report, the meteoric rise in disability and death (research insurance carriers figures from the time the shots and boosters rolled out) and also ask why the FDA went to court to try to block the clinical trial data surrounding the clot shots from being released to the public for 75 years! If it was safe and effective as claimed, why not be transparent with the data?? C'mon folks, it's high time to demand basic fundamental answers. Sheep are being slaughtered and the Lions can only do so much to protect you. Stop letting your kids apply to/stay at these schools that are trying to harm/kill them. Religious and medical exemptions are NOT the answer- they just perpetuate the problem and feed the beast! Money talks-pull your kids out and send them to schools that are not mandating the vax while we continue to fight the larger battle.
I couldn't be prouder of a person I've never met. The compulsive attitude towards vaccination is truly criminal. I don't care about being considered Anti-vaxer it's my body my choice and this nonsense needs to come to an end. The science is there for each individual to do their research and let's leave it at that.
