I retired from UCOP six months ago, after working there for thirty years. My proudest achievement was to assist the resistance to UC's jab mandate, making use of my inside knowledge of the UC bureaucracy and my unique access to UC systemwide databases to help our side get at the truth. I am immensely pleased to see a modest measure of personal autonomy return to members of the UC community now, even if there is still a long ways to go.
When UC's jab policy was first proposed, hundreds of people wrote to President Drake opposing it. There was, however, a single letter in favor of making the policy tougher, imposing the jab mandate even before FDA licensure of the mRNA compounds (thus effectively forcing the entire UC community to participate in an experimental trial in violation of the Nuremberg Code and in violation of UC's own human use policies). This letter was signed by all the Deans at UCLA.
UCLA, by the way, has received over $380 million in COVID research funding so far, most of it being routed through a single long-time Fauci loyalist ( https://www.universityofcalifornia.edu/about-us/information-center/NIH-UC-research ). UC San Francisco has received nearly $100 million from Fauci. As for Big Pharma, the campuses with medical centers are deeply involved in conducting clinical trials on their behalf, notably including trials involving the mRNA compounds and a successor to Remdesivir as well as vast numbers of medical researchers receiving other grants from the same companies (115 at UC San Diego, for example).
Then there is the notorious EcoHealth Alliance and its assistance to the Wuhan Institute in bioengineering the virus. As EcoHealth whistleblower Dr. Andrew Huff outlined in his book "The Truth about Wuhan," a researcher at UC Davis was actually the Principal Investigator on the PREDICT cooperative agreement, where USAID was secretly fronting for the r&d arm of the Office of the Director of National Intelligence to fund dual-use biowarfare research by a network of organizations, including UC Davis, EcoHealth, and Metabiota.
Dr. Huff confirmed what I had suspected from my own queries, namely that UC Davis was providing academic cover to help the Deep State evade restrictions on the development of deadly organisms under the 1972 Biological Weapons Convention; PREDICT's pretext being that scouring the world for dangerous coronaviruses and making them even more dangerous would somehow help us more easily identify and track viruses with pandemic potential.
UC's leadership is obviously afflicted with profound financial conflicts of interest and with potential criminal and civil liability for facilitating violations of international law and for the wrongful deaths arising from its jab mandate in spite of being expressly warned beforehand that the safety and efficacy of the mRNA compounds was being disputed in peer-reviewed articles. Regarding the latter, I did later detect excess numbers of deaths showing up among UC employees shortly after the jabs commenced.
We need more than just an opt-out. We need justice.
My son is a 3rd year at UCSB and got religious exemption. The exemption applies to all boosters. My middle son is applying to UCs but he won’t accept any offer without written exemption. I suggest all parents either get exemptions for their kids or tell them they should withdraw.
