UC websites and communications are deceiving and misleading countless students into thinking they must still comply with a COVID-19 vaccine mandate that no longer exists.
The UCs are becoming quite a headache for us tax payers. They don't seem to be working for the taxpayer anymore.
1. There is a strong suspicion that they practice affirmative action particularly hurting asian americans (and boys especially) when it comes to undergraduate admissions.
2. They admit 18% foreigners and give away the seats that should have gone to California residents who paid taxes. These foreigners are rich and usually not capable to getting admissions on merit in their home country. I suspect these foreigners are not the best and they cannibalize the good students in California.
3. The UCs are more interested in making money from hawking vaccines and anything from Pharma. This is where the law suit reference comes in.
4. Now we learn that they are trying to push Covid vaccines and making a quick buck.
Since their goal is to make money, may be we should convert them into private universities.
My alma mater does mention that people are allowed to op-out of the flu vaccine and the Covid shot, but not without continuing to peddle a bunch of lies. They and the others who continue to push this garbage keep insisting that even if the shots don't work, they make it less likely that a person will get severely ill. There's no proof of that either.
Looks like that page was last updated in the fall of 2024. They still require a reason to opt-out or decline and in the case of the Covid vax because of Trump's EO, no reason should be needed.
My two sons each graduated from a UC college several years ago. They were told that certain vaccines were required, but they never had to show evidence that they had received them. Maybe the UC colleges decided to tighten up because of Covid-19. Or maybe they still just take the students at their word.

Thank you!
If people don’t GET THIS by now, perhaps they never will.
Freedom/Natural Law does not require exemptions.
Your health is your responsibility, no one else’s.

Frustrating to see such dishonesty committed in the name of medicine and public health. Thanks for you advocacy.
Thanks Dr. Marine!
Thank you for updates! I hope a law passes to stop this nonsense!
coincidentally, California also has the highest rates of autism in the nation... https://eccentrik.substack.com/p/new-paper-evidence-showing-childhood?r=8ypo0
